AIM Awards Level 1 Youth Work Practice Qualifications

AIM Awards Level 1 Youth Work Practice Qualifications

Our Level 1 Youth Work Practice qualifications are the starting point for everyone who is looking to become a qualified Youth Worker. These qualifications are designed for the learners who are working with new groups and youth work projects that meet for short periods, such as summer programmes and school peer education projects and are now available for 14+ learners.

The qualifications provide an induction to the core areas of youth work such as safe working practice, self-assessment and effective teamwork in youth work. These qualifications also provide an introduction to the broader programme of Youth Work at Level 2 and Level 3, meeting the requirements for conferring occupational competence within the JNC framework for Youth Support Work.

Want to offer these qualifications?

If you are already an AIM Awards centre, you can complete an online qualification application here. Simply select the relevant qualifications you wish to deliver and select ‘Apply to offer this qualification’.
