Why work for AIM Awards?
We like to think of ourselves as a family. As a staff team, we work closely to encourage, support and develop each other in order to help our skills and business grow, whilst maintaining our values of being friendly, flexible and fair.
We are committed to encouraging continuous development and to providing an interesting and enjoyable work environment. To prove this we have worked with Investors in People (IIP) to secure their Gold accreditation. We want our dealings with our staff and contractors to be as positive as our dealings with our customers.
We have many examples of colleagues in our team that have started as apprentices and progressed to more senior and management roles.
We offer hundreds of qualifications covering a wide variety of subjects to a rich tapestry of customers which makes for interesting and varied work. Our teams get to work with:
- Aspiring young adults in schools and colleges
- Tutors supporting offender learners to get their lives back on track
- Charitable organisations passionately promoting their cause
- International centres as far away as China and Argentina
- Principals and senior managers
- Businesses looking to up-skill
This variety means that no days are similar from one to the next and makes for a fulfilling working life.
We organise regular events to help build the team such as our monthly staff information days, annual staff conference and of course our Christmas knees up!
We try to socialise together from time to time as well. Examples of staff social events include:
- Dinners out and trips to the cinema
- Netball tournament
- Derby Ghost Walk
If you think this sounds like something you would like to be part of, keep an eye on the current vacancies page of our website for suitable opportunities. We would love to hear from you!
